Bill Self is one of the most renowned and wealthiest Basketball Coaches who was born on the 27, 1962 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, United States. Bill Self is estimated to have $10 million net worth on December 11 2023. Bill was the head coach at Kansas during 2013. He was the coach assistant to the freshman sensation Andrew Wiggins. Self was a part of his initial three seasons with Tulsa (1998-2000) in which Self compiled a Tulsa best record (74-27) following the rebuilding of Golden Eagles. While at TU Self coached the Golden Hurricane to consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999 and 2000. Self was the coach of the TU Golden Hurricane team to the first Elite Eight in 1999/2000, making the single season victory record for the university record by scoring 32-5. Self is a basketball coach, who guided Kansas University to a NCAA Championship in 2012. In 2012, the coach was awarded the Naismith College Coaching of the year prize. Following year, he also received his fourth Big 12 Award for Coach of the Year. In 1989, he got married to Cindy Self. Tyler is his son and Lauren is Lauren's daughter. Self was born in Okmulgee Oklahoma where his father was a girl's basketball coach at nearby Morris High School. He received a basketball scholarship to play at Oklahoma State University. In all four years of playing in the team, he was an honors student. In 1985 he graduated with an MBA degree and, in 1989, he earned a degree in athletic management from Oklahoma State.
